Answer: Yes, as both of you are going to be signatories of the account we require the same information from both. |

Answer: Yes, you can certainly have an account in these currencies: USD, GBP, EURO and CFA. |

Answer: Yes, they can withdraw funds from your account if you send us instruction to do so. |

Answer: You can contact us for an account number of any of our corresponding banks or if you live in a country or city where we don't have corresponding bank, you can instruct your bankers' to transfer funds via SWIFT (ADNTGHAC)into your account in Ghana by given your name and account number. |

Question # 12: What is the difference between Forex and Foreign Accounts |

Answer: 1. With Forex accounts we only accept cash deposit and you can withdraw cash without commission.
2. Foreign, we accept funds transfer and foreign cheques. Withdrawing foreign currency cash from an account attracts commission. No commission on cedi cash withdrawal. |

Question # 13: If I am non-resident customer can I operate my account from any of your branches? |

Answer: All of ADB non-resident customer accounts (HOME_LINK) are domiciled at Cedi House Branch. This is for easy monitoring and provision of efficient service. |

Question # 14: I think I may start with fixed deposit so that the term interest is transferred into my savings a/c periodically. Can you please tell me the interest on fixed deposits and savings a/c? |

First of all, you will have to open a SAVINGS account, then upon receipt of your initial deposit, you will then give us written instruction to debit your account with specify amount and invest it as fixed deposit.
However, when you're sending your application forms, you can also add a letter stating your full details and the amount you'd like us to use as FD and also you must state the number of days you want e.g. 91 days with or without rollover with interest.
